We specialize in helping organizations harness their data to improve their HR strategies and track performance toward their goals.
Royes Analytics has worked with organizations ranging from ~40 to ~130,000 employees and has experience working with organizations in different places in their People Analytics journey. JOSH ROYES, PH.D.
Founder
Josh Royes’s background includes more than 7 years of professional experience working as a statistician, data scientist, and organizational consultant. While working as a statistician, he led research teams tasked with conducting applied research to improve internal processes and make data-based recommendations for external processes/systems. He has done external consulting since 2016, with the bulk of his projects being automated data analysis pipelines, statistical analyses, employee surveys, and assessment construction, validation, and refinement.
Josh earned his BS in Psychology with a concentration in Human Resource Management from the University of Wisconsin–Stout. He then earned his MA and PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tulsa. While he lived in Tulsa, he also worked as a data scientist for a labor relations consulting firm, where he worked on automating their data analyses and reporting. As a part-time faculty member of psychology at a university, he designs courses, teaches, and advises students on research.
Josh is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychologists (SIOP), where he has presented research at six different international conferences. Josh has also organized and presented research at the Industrial/Organizational and Organizational Behavior (IOOB) National Conference. He is currently helping several companies develop processes to analyze their company and employee data.
